We will not be playing Music Bingo or have the massive amounts of food as in years past.   However, we will  open the newly stocked music store (for their music money) and the students will have a
very important practice rehearsal for the recital.
This will be held at Music Makers.

If your student is in a band act, please refer to the email sent last week regarding extra practices.   We will likely rehearse past 4:00 on Saturday with any group that can stay just to get in more practice time.   Then we'll discuss our schedules and work out a couple of extra times that week.    If  you havn't done one of these before, please feel free to call with questions!

REMINDER ABOUT OUR INCREDIBLE SUMMER OFFER!
Those students in a class will be receiving a 5% discount for 1 year as long as they remain through the summer!   You'll notice it on your next invoice.

Private students get something awesome as well:  the chance to jam with other musicians in a safe and instructive setting this summer!   We will be having our "Jam Sessions" (No extra cost) on Thursdays from 10:30 - 11:30 am.  If we have enough regulars that commit to learning specifc songs, we may put together a performance at the end of the summer and take it on the road a bit (very local, I assure you!).

Money Saving Propositio
n:  In these tough times we are all trying to find ways to cut costs.  As  you know required by the teacher are at 40% off….we make no money off these books.     Because your kids are practicing so well and are moving along at a nice pace, we are moving through the books rapidly.  For you that means more money spent and a used book that, unless you have younger children, is useless!    For me it means constant orders and shipping charges.

If you don’t plan to pass the books on to younger students, we will buy them back from you:  $5.00 for the large Mayron Cole books, $2.00 for all the others.  I will credit your next invoice.   Then, students needing the next set can choose to purchase new books or buy them from us at the same prices as above.   They will of course be written in and on….but for the most part I’ve noticed the books stay in pretty good shape.   If you wish to do this, just bring in the books with a post-it or a note attached with your child’s name (if it’s not already on the book).

UPDATE:  Some have taken advantage of this program and saved money...be sure and ask about
it!
