RE: Christmas CD
Dear Parents/Guardians:
The Christmas CD will be recorded on Saturday, December 2, 2006. Since the company that previously recorded our sessions has moved to Florida, we are going to record our wonderful singers at my studio just down the street from St. Thomas. The address is 757 McHenry Avenue, Suite D. You will see a sign that says “Music Makers…for Life, Inc.”
It is the suite between Woodfield Planning and Morgan Stanley.
I’m changing the times slightly (from what has been posted at my website). The 3rd, 4th, 5th grade choir will produce their CD from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Please try to have them at the studio at 12:45 pm. The 6th, 7th, 8th grade choir will produce theirs from 2:45 – 4:00 pm.
These will be produced at cost this year. The charge will be $5.00 for each CD. Please indicate how many copies you would like to order.

RE: Christmas Play, December 14, 2006
Dear Parents:
Our Christmas play will be on Thursday, December 14, 2006. The children need to arrive at downstairs Pierson no later than 6:30 pm. The play will begin at 7:00 pm.
We will have a dress rehearsal during school on December 14, 2006 at 10:00 am.

Where we stand with costumes:
4th graders playing a student: wear St. Thomas Uniform.
Mary, Joseph, and Wise Men: we have a costume for you. (thank you again, Mrs. Salvi!)
We need 5 sheep, 2 cows and one dog. We also need 6 angel costumes (a few which are covered) for the fourth graders, and three 4th grade shepherds. There are a few “women” for the nativity scene as well.
As always, parents are not required to provide the costumes for their children. We have a wonderful community of people possessing talent and the desire to share it! If you are one of those angelic parents willing to help with a larger quantity of costumes, please email me your offer.
Here is the breakdown for the larger job:
There are 19 third grade boys so we need 22 shepherd costumes.
There are 21 third grade girls so we need 27 angel costumes. I just bought about six (Halloween sale!) and we have a few more at school. The fourth grade will get first choice for these....the third graders know that next year is their year to shine! In summary, we are in need of about 20 angel costumes for third graders. Hannah Martin had an excellent idea: the girls may wear their confirmation dresses from last year if they still fit. Also: ***I will be ordering 20 sets of wings and halos from Oriental Trading. They are $5.95 each. (Thanks for the idea Mrs. Loftus!) If Angel's parents can afford to send $6.00 to cover this cost for your daughter, it would be appreciated! (It is not required).
Please fill out the below form and send it back when school resumes on November 20, 2006 so that we can keep an accurate count of what is needed.
