A Word from Ms. Corr
My name is Kathleen Corr and I am one of the instructors for the ZooPhonics program. My educational background includes a B.S. in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University. I taught First Grade at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Crystal Lake, IL for seven years. Currently I am teaching Kindergarten in Buffalo Grove, IL. I also tutor children privately in areas of reading and math. For the past three summers I have had the opportunity to teach ZooPhonics. Through movement and music ZooPhonics engages children in the whole learning process. It provides a connection between early reading, spelling, and writing. |
